On episode #10 of Rebels Recon “Inside Idiot’s Array” we were provided a brief glimpse behind the editing process of Star Wars Rebels. In the featurette we see that editor Joe Elwood gets a little help from the first 12. Proudly displayed below his monitors you can see not only the first dozen Kenner action figures released but they are displayed on the Acton Display Stand.
Also lurking in the shadows is an ITT (Imperial Troop Transporter) and a few extra vintage Jawas flanking an unsuspecting 12″ R2.
How great is it that all facets of Star Wars is now in the hands of the fans. From JJ Abrams, Jonathan Storey (The Disney Store’s Vice President of Sales) and Rebels creators like Dave Filoni and Joe Elwood. A Star Wars universe without the true Maker George Lucas sounded very scary at first but now just three years after Disney’s adoption, things continue to look very bright.
